Baiyun Terminal 1, 2 or 3
Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport now has three passenger terminals. Which one you use changes which hotel is actually close, and most booking sites bury that under a single “airport hotel” label.
Terminal 1
Terminal 1 is the older building. Airport South on Metro Line 3 is the station. Novotel Guangzhou Baiyun Airport is the walk: about one minute from the hotel. Pullman Guangzhou Baiyun Airport is next door.
Terminal 2
Terminal 2 is the main domestic and mixed-traffic building. Airport North on Metro Line 3 is the station. The campus hotels run a three-minute shuttle to Gate 46. Holiday Inn Express Guangzhou Baiyun Airport T2 is named for this terminal but is 4.2 km away on Konggang Avenue.
Terminal 3
Terminal 3 is the newest building. The campus hotels run a shuttle to Gate 66. Pickup points and frequency change. Off-peak it can be about every 40 minutes, tighter when the terminal is busy. Hotels on Konggang Avenue and in Huadu do not run a Gate 66 shuttle.
Airlines move flights between buildings. Your boarding pass wins.
Metro, not a hotel bus
Airport South (T1) and Airport North (T2) are the Line 3 stations. A hotel shuttle is not a metro substitute. Line 9 at Qingtang (Crowne Plaza Guangzhou Huadu) is not a Terminal 3 link.
